A Firm Foundation

In 1971 William L. ("Bill") Brown formed his first real estate company. Over the past 37 years Bill's affiliated companies have planned, developed and constructed over 8,000 housing units.

In recent years Bill has assembled a team of real estate professionals, including his three sons (Jed, Doak & Wil), to assist him with development and construction. Brownstone is served by capable project managers, construction managers, project superintendents, and office staff. The complete group of partners, employees and consultants bring extensive experience and broad knowledge to the Brownstone group's team.

Building For the Future

Brownstone is currently focusing on multi-family tax credit projects, multi-family disaster recovery program projects along the Texas gulf coast, market rate apartments, and inner-city townhomes.

Brownstone also provides turn-key development and construction for select commercial retailers. Brownstone Commercial, LLC works with commercial retailers to locate sites for their stores and rental facilities. Brownstone's development and construction authorities will work diligently to develop sites and construct facilities suited for individual retailer's needs.
